A Palestinian died Saturday five days after being shot in the head by Israeli soldiers in the Gaza Strip, a Palestinian hospital source told AFP.
Abdullah Mahmud Abu Kirsh, 21, died at al-Shifa hospital in Gaza, where he was transported after being injured Monday at the Karni crossing between Israel and the Gaza Strip, the source said.
On Friday, a Palestinian man was wounded by Israeli gunfire near the Jewish settlement of Masuah in the Jordan Valley, said Haaretz newspaper.
The man was taken to Shaare Zedek medical center in Jerusalem for treatment, added the paper.
In the Gaza Strip, the paper quoted a military spokesman as saying that shots were fired Friday afternoon at an Israeli outpost near the Jewish settlement of Gush Katif and at a truck at a junction, south of the West Bank city of Hebron. There were no injuries reported -- Albawaba.com
