Pakistan on Monday categorically dismissed as "pure disinformation" a Washington Post report that some associates of nuclear scientist Dr. Qadeer Khan planned to sell N-technology to Iran. "There is no new evidence in the story and is a recycling of the old one," Pakistan Foreign Office Spokesman Masood Khan told a weekly press briefing in Islamabad.

On Sunday, Khan also dismissed as baseless the report in the American daily that international investigators have produced evidence about an alleged secret meeting between Iranian officials and associates of Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan, founder of Pakistan's nuclear program.

"The report is unfounded and no evidence has been produced to Pakistan about any meeting," he said in a statement carried by the state-run PTV.
