Omani Deputy Premier for Council of Ministers receives Iranian ambassador

Sayyid Fahd bin Mahmoud al-Said, Oman’s Deputy Prime Minister for the Council of Ministers, received at his office in Muscat Sunday Nimat Allah Yazdi, Iran’s Ambassador accredited to the Sultanate who called upon Sayyid Fahd to bid him farewell at the end of his term.  

 

The Deputy Prime Minister for the Council of Ministers reviewed with the Iranian Ambassador the bilateral relations and ways of enhancing joint cooperation in all fields. They also discussed a number of regional and international issues of joint interest, the Oman News Agency reported.  

 

For his part, the Ambassador expressed his sincere gratitude for the attention he had received from Sultan Qaboos bin Said and government officials, which facilitated his duties in the Sultanate. 

 

Sayyid Fahd, in return, expressed the appreciation of the Omani government for the fruitful efforts of the Ambassador in strengthening ties of friendship and cooperation between the two countries and wished him success in his future career. (Albawaba.com)
