Israel's Public Security Minister Tzachi HaNegbi in a surprise move, named Southern District police commander Moshe Karadi as the new national police chief on Wednesday.
44-year-old Karadi is the son of a veteran officer with the Border Police. In the past, he had also served as the head of the operations division and the head of the manpower division. He served as a paratrooper during his military service. (Albawaba.com)
