Small and medium-sized businesses across the UAE are set to benefit from a completely digital, “future-proof” keyphone system manufactured by NEC and distributed in the country as well as Qatar, by Al Yousuf Computer.
The ‘Aspila Topaz’ digital keyphone system is designed to enable UAE businesses to take advantage of the system’s scalability, fully hybrid ports, the Euro-ISDN BRI support and its user-friendly technology.
“UAE businesses have always been the regional leaders in adopting new technology. Harnessing the benefits of advanced telecommunications – increased functionality with reduced costs – is one way they will stay ahead of the competition,” said Daoud S. Eid, Director of Al Yousuf’s IT Companies.
“With affordable and scalable digital keyphone systems from NEC, small and medium-sized companies in the UAE can manage their communications with features and functionalities normally found in larger systems,” added Eid.
The Aspila TOPAZ is designed to ease installation, upgrading, and maintenance. It allows expansion from 3 trunks/8 extensions to 27 trunks/72 extensions.
“NEC infrontia, previously known as Nitsuko, has been operating in the market for more than 20 years, and now with the launch of our new key telephone system we are confident of maintaining our status being number one in this area in the UAE”, said CK Tan, NEC Regional Sales Manager.
The system also comes with ISDN BRI support, hybrid ports to fit any multi-line or single line phone, built-in caller ID detection and transmission, built-in DISA function, as well as optional Voice Mail and Voice Response System (VSR).
Executives from Al Yousuf Computer have said that they expect the digital key telephone system to be available in the UAE from December 2005 and in Qatar from early 2006.
