The MTC-Vodafone Environmental Treasure Hunt  will be held under the patronage of His Highness Shaikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Head of the Public Commission for the Protection of Marine Resources, Environment and Wildlife, on Friday December 1st, 2006.

Organisers, T & M EVENTSCOM, and the event staff members have devised new and more exciting games for a yet bigger, better, and more fun event this year. The grand prize for the winning team is US$1,000 and there are many other attractive prizes including; mobile phones, gift and dinner vouchers, and other items.

"The Treasure Hunt is an enjoyable and unique way to spend the weekend while playing a part in improving the Kingdom's environment," commented Zahra'a Taher, Managing Director, T & M EVENTSCOM. "The Treasure Hunt also emphasizes our roles and environmental responsibilities as citizens of Bahrain," added Taher.

Each team of adventurers must consist of one car with a maximum of four members. Solving the clues will require a number of team talents such as problem-solving, time management, map reading, physical fitness, and exemplary driving skills. Each clue will lead to a fun mental or physical challenge.

The first Treasure Hunt in 2003 which was sponsored by MTC-Vodafone Bahrain  promoted road safety and driving ethics, & the cause has since been increasing environmental awareness; this year's focus is on industrial pollution.

To take part in supporting the environment, register your teams now and take part in making Bahrain Greener, supporting our environmental cause, and challenge the others to win $1000.
