Moroccan Prime Minister Abdel-Rahman Yousufi arrived Tuesday in Tehran on the start of a six-day official visit to Iran, the first by a senior Moroccan official since the Islamic revolution in 1979, reported Iran News Agency (IRNA).
Yousufi's visit was at the invitation of Iran's first vice-president, Hassan Habibi, said the agency.
Yousufi is due to hold talks aimed at boosting bilateral ties between the two countries, said the agency, adding that the two countries are expected to sign two agreements in the fields of tourism and transportation.
The annual value of Iran-Morocco trade exchanges stands around 200 million dollars, according to IRNA -- Albawaba.com
