Morocco and the UAE on Tuesday signed a free trade agreement abolishing tariffs on all goods, reported the official Maghrebe Arab Presse (MAP).
The agreement was signed in the southern city of Agadir by UAE Foreign Minister Sheikh Hamad bin Zayed Al Nahyan and his Moroccan counterpart, Mohamed Benaissa, at a ceremony attended by King Mohammed, said the agency.
The agreement was signed at the end of a meeting of the Morocco-UAE joint commission.
Rabat and Abu Dhabi called for easing the free movement of goods between the two countries through lowering down all trade barriers, intensifying meetings and exchanging information between private businesses, as part of a mutually beneficial partnership – Albawaba.com
