The Moroccan Association for Support of the Struggle of the Palestinian People (AMSLP) on Friday "appealed to all African Peoples" to support Palestinians against what it described as the "barbaric assault of the Israeli army," Panafrican News Agency (PANA) reported.
In a statement, AMSLP chairman Khaled Sefiani exhorted African countries, "which suffered colonial rule decades ago, to support the Palestinian people in their fight for independence and dignity."
Sefiani was quoted by the agency as saying that "the international community must face its responsibilities and help Palestinians regain their rights as well as establish an independent state, with Al Quds (Jerusalem) as its capital.” – Albawaba.com
