Local GSM provider MobileCom sponsored the Road Master II Treasure Hunt, which took off from the company’s parking lot. At least 80 cars with more than 300 very excited contestants took part in the challenging competition in which participants needed to find clues in order to win rewarding prizes.

Chief Marketing Officer of Mobilecom, Jean-Marie Agniel said: “As part of its social responsibility, MobileCom is always keen on sponsoring educational, social and sports activities especially events that include a high level of entertainment and fun such as the Road Master II Treasure Hunt.  Participants clearly entered into the spirit with a lot of enjoyment and excitement and rose to the challenging experience which took people all over parts of Amman.”

Held for the second consecutive year, the competition included 20 clues; each clue led the competitor to another location where the next clue was to be found. A number of the clues included questions on MobileCom’s products and services.

The competition ended in the evening at the Royal Automobile Museum in Al-Hussein Park with the first place winner receiving US$1,000, first runner up going home with US$600 and the second runner up taking US$400, in addition to other great prizes that were distributed across other contenders.
