Tanmia, the National Human Resources Development and Employment Authority will be the patron for the second annual Middle East HR Summit, which will be held from September 18 to 20, 2005, at the J.W. Marriott Hotel in Dubai. Aisha Al Suwaidi, Acting Director, Center for Career Guidance and Planning (CCGP) will represent Tanmia during the two-day summit that will bring together over 50 expert international and regional HR practitioners.
The Middle East HR Summit is the largest and most comprehensive event of its kind in the region, providing an ideal platform for HR professionals to acquaint themselves with recent developments concerning regional and international HR practices.

Tanmia, the National Human Resource Development & Employment Authority in the UAE, was established by a Presidential decree in November 1999, to address the imbalance in the labour market, due to excessive dependence on expatriate workforce. Tanmia is engaged in a coordinating role, between national job seekers and employers in the private and government sectors, to facilitate increased entry of nationals in the labour market.
