General Sheikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Crown Prince, UAE Defense Minister and Chief of Dubai Police and Public Security, has ordered the release of 300 prisoners on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of national day and Eid Al Fitr, Emirates’ official news agency (WAM) reported.
The pardon was given on instructions of Sheikh Maktoum bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai. Commander of Dubai Police Major General Dhahi Khalfan Tamim said Sheikh Maktoum's gesture had coincided with the two glorious occasions – Albawaba.com
