Libya has requested an emergency meeting of Arab foreign ministers on the Israeli siege of Palestinian President Yasser Arafat, an Arab League official said in Cairo on Monday.
Libyan African Unity Minister Ali Abdul Salam Triki sent the request to Amr Mussa, secretary general of the 22-member Cairo-based pan-Arab organization, the official told AFP.
The official was speaking on the sidelines of a meeting held in the Egyptian capital on Monday by the country delegates to the Arab League to discuss Yasser Arafat's siege. (Albawaba.com)
