Global and regional digital leader LG Electronics has expanded its vast portfolio of mobile handsets with the launch, this week, of three attractive handsets aimed at budget-conscious customers.
The new releases – KG320, KG220 and KG245 – join LG’s impressive line-up of slim, attractive and powerful communication devices and demonstrate the company’s commitment to technological innovation.

Topping the list of new releases is the KG320, a sleek ‘candybar’ phone that is 9.9 mm thick. It features an easy-to-use navigation pad. The KG320 does not skimp on features – a 1.3 mega-pixel camera, 128 MB of flash memory, and MP3/MPEG/AAC support, and USB connectivity are all packed in its compact and light-weight design.
The elegant-looking KG320 boasts a 1000-entry phonebook and a 1.77-inch 176 x 220 pixel screen capable of displaying up to 256k colors. Its 1.3 mega-pixel camera with LED flash can also shoot videos in MPEG 4 format.
The KG 320 also supports Bluetooth connectivity and includes a USB 1.1 port.
For clamshell aficionados, LG has launched the neat KG245 and KG220 handsets. Combining functionality with effortless design, both KG245 and KG220 hold a multitude of easy-to-use technology beneath their sleek exteriors.
For consumers who wish to capture their most memorable moments, both handsets offer quality camera and video capabilities including built-in flash, all displayed on the crystal-clear 65k colour display. With the exciting zoom-in / zoom-out camera function, close up and landscape shots are no longer the preserve of professional photographers.
Style meets sophistication in the KG220 handset, a features-rich yet light-weight phone that includes a high-resolution digital camera, a vibrant colour screen, tri-band, embedded GPRS/Java technology, polyphonic ringtones, along with MMS and WAP 2.0 capabilities.
