Lebanese Prime Minister Rafik al-Hariri met in Beirut on Sunday with United States congressmen Daryl Eissa and Tom Davis along with the US ambassador.
Davis told reporters following the meeting that discussions were “very frank and we all agree that we need to see peace in the middle east and we have to do everything possible for that.
“We discussed ideas on the best way in this regard”.
According to Kuwait News Agency, Eissa said the visit to Lebanon came within the context of ongoing dialogue with the area and with Lebanon especially, following the September 11 attacks. (Albawaba.com)
