Christakis Katsambas, one of Cyprus’ most prominent journalists, former president of the Union of Cyprus Journalists and ex-chairman of the Board of Directors of the Cyprus News Agency, died Sunday as a result of serious heart and kidney problems and was buried Monday afternoon, CNA said.
Katsambas' funeral was held at the church of Agii Omologite, at the expense of the Union, the agency added.
