Kuwaiti First deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah received on Sunday, US Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld and his accompanying delegation on the occasion of his visit to the Emirate.
Bilateral relations between the two friendly countries, matters of joint concern and the latest political developments in the Middle East have been discussed, according to KUNA.
The meeting was attended by deputy prime minister and minister of defense Sheikh Jaber Mubarak al-Hamad, minister of state for foreign affairs Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Sabah al-Salem al-Sabah, undersecretary of the ministry of foreign affairs Khaled al-Jarallah, chief of staff lieutenant general Ali al-Momen, director of Sheikh Sabah's office ambassador Ahmad Fahed al-Fahed, director of the two Americas department at the foreign ministry ambassador Khaled al-Babtain and American ambassador to Kuwait, Richard H.
