Kuwait can continue to pump around two million barrels of oil a day for the next 132 years before its vast reserves run out, according to The Associated Press (AP), as published in Bahrain Tribune.
The agency quoted the recent study which was conducted by the state-owned Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research Kuwait’s reserves were estimated at 96.5 billion barrels, 10.8 percent of world reserves.
The study said that the known reserves are 1.07 billion barrels higher than before the August 1990 Iraqi invasion of the country -- Albawaba.com
