ALBAWABA - U.S. envoy Steve Witkoff and President Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner cancelled their visit to Tel Aviv, Israeli media reported

Witkoff and Kushner were planning to be in Israel on Tuesday, but they cancelled their trip due to the escalation in the region.

Channel 12 announced the news, without giving a reason behind the decision.

The two American officials were scheduled to have talks with Israelis on the ongoing war on Iran.

However, no immediate Israeli or US confirmation has been made yet.

The U.S. and Israel launched a joint attack on Iran on Feb. 28, killing more than 1,200 people, including supreme leader Ali Khamenei. Tehran responded with drone and missile strikes targeting Israel and Gulf countries that are home to U.S. military assets.
