Iran's President Mohammad Khatami arrived in Bushehr Wednesday morning to inaugurate a cement plant
in a nearby town.
The country's Minister of Industries and Mines, Is'haq Jahangiri is accompanying the President in his visit to the province.
Rls 490 billion and dlrs 20 million have been spent on building the Dashtestan cement plant which is to be inaugurated Wednesday, according to IRNA news agency.
The plant with a nominal production capacity of 3000 tons will directly create 320 job opportunities as well as over 1,000 ones in indirect ways, the official agency added. (Albawaba.com)
