The city of Tangier will host its sixth edition of "Jazz in Tangier Festival" from May 24 to 30. <i>AlBayan</i> reports that this event, which was held annually for the last six years, is initiated and organized by the Lorin Foundation.
The Foundation president, Philippe Lorin, said that the event has already became a very successful and popular tradition and that this year festival, as previous years festivals, will host a long series of renowned Jazz artists, local as well as international including: Omar Sosa New Quintet, Nina Van Horn & The Midnignt Wolf Band, Ayoka, Yukata Shiina Trio, Stefka Miteva Quartet, Sequana Swing, Jeff Zima Trio, Louis Martinez Quintet, Tawfik Ouldammar Quartet, Salah Ragab & Cairo Jazz Band, Wajdi Cherif Oriental Group, Le axtette with Ronald Baker, Batucada Batala, Dallas Trio, Pedro Cortejosa Quartet, The Black Label Swingtet, H-Kayne Darga and Hoba Hoba Spirit, Filosoface.
