Organized by the municipality of Carthage and the municipality of Marsa in conjunction with the French Cooperation Institute, a jazz festival with the slogan "Music of the new world in a thousand-year-old city” will be held between April 12 and April 16.
<i>La Presse</i> reports that Barbara Heindricks, Johnny Griffin, Steve Coleman, Julien Lourau and Anouar Brahem are among the prominent names that will take part in the event. The festival will start on April 12 with the performance of the saxophonist Julien Lourau. Within the framework of the festival, the Essaâdi gallery will host an exhibition called “Citizen Jazz Expo” from April 8 until April 16.
