A Palestinian woman was shot dead by Israeli occupation troops on Wednesday in the West Bank city of Hebron, reported the official Palestinian news agency, WAFA.
The agency said that Rasmeyyeh Jawad Abu Sbeih, 40, was shot in the head on the Dhahreyyeh-Beer-Sheva road, adding that she was on her way to work with a number of other Palestinian women.
The victim was a widow and a mother of two.
In another development, Israel Radio reported that two unexploded bombs were discovered Wednesday in Afula, north of Israel.
It said that police arrested a suspect at the scene, saying he could have planted the explosives.
One of the bombs was found close to the site of a deadly suicide bombing seven years ago, the radio said, cited by Haaretz newspaper.
