ALBAWABA - The Israeli army urged Gazans in the main southern city of Khan Yunis and the nearby regions of Bani Suheila and Abasan to "evacuate immediately".
"The Israeli Defense Forces (military) will launch an unprecedented attack to destroy the capabilities of terrorist organisations in this area," Avichay Adraee, the Arabic-language spokesperson of the Israeli army, posted a statement on Telegram on Monday.
"You must evacuate immediately to the west to the Mawasi area. From this moment, Khan Yunis will be considered a dangerous combat zone."
The warning came as the Israeli army is likely preparing an attack in those areas.
