ALBAWABA - Under the peace plan, mediated by the United States, Hamas has handed over seven hostages to the Red Cross, media reported.
Eitan Mor, Alon Ohel, Ziv Berman, Gali Berman, Guy Gilboa-Dalal, Omri Miran and Matan Angrest were taken by the Israeli army and Shin Bet, and are on their way to a reception point in southern the country, the Israeli military said in a statement.
In return, 1,716 Palestinians detained by Israel from Gaza are preparing to get free at Nasser Hospital on Monday in the Gaza Strip, an official involved in the operation told Reuters.
Moreover, Reuters further mentioned that an additional 250 Palestinians who had been serving life sentences in Israeli prisons will be released from Israeli jails to the West Bank, Jerusalem, and abroad today.

The Israeli military and security service said in a statement on Oct. 13, "According to information provided by the Red Cross, seven hostages have been transferred into their custody, and are on their way to IDF and ISA forces in the Gaza Strip."
"The IDF is prepared to receive additional hostages who are expected to be transferred to the Red Cross later on," the statement added.
It is worth noting that US President Donald Trump will be landing at Ben-Gurion Airport at around 9:20 a.m.
Israeli President Isaac Herzog, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and Sara Netanyahu will be welcoming Trump upon his arrival.
