Israel's Defense Ministry has granted several West Bank settler "outposts" the status of a permanent township, making it possible for them to receive education and infrastructure budgets from the government, Israel Radio reported Monday.
The radio reported that a document, signed by Israel's Defense Minister Saul Mofaz's advisor on the settlements, instructs government authorities to give Pnei Kedem, Neve Erez, Mitzpe Kramim, Migron and other "outposts" the status of a permanent township, the radio said.
It should be recalled that Israel promised to remove illegal outposts as part of the US-backed peace plan - the roadmap.(Albawaba.com)
