Irish Prime Minister Bertie Ahern accompanied by Bahrain's Minister of Electricity and Water Shaikh Abdulla bin Salman Al Khalifa, paid a visit to Al Hidd power and water plant.
According to PNA, he was received by Undersecretary of Electricity and Water Dr. Abdulmajid Al-Awadhi, assistant undersecretaries and several officials in the Irish consultancy company, which is supervising the second phase of the plant. Ahern was briefed on the plant's operation, the system used for generating power and water.
