Spokesman for Iranian Foreign Ministry Hamid-Reza Asefi outlined the latest developments in Iran's peaceful
nuclear activities and expressed belief that parts of the resolution adopted by the International Atomic Energy Agency were "not based on reality".
Talking to reporters in Tehran Sunday, the spokesman stated that for various reasons, including Iran's sincere cooperation with the nuclear watchdog and also the fact that it has nothing to conceal from the organization, the Islamic republic's file is not to be referred to the Security Council.
According to IRNA, Asefi said that Washington has failed to get its pre-planned resolution ratified, pointing out that the US-proposed resolution underwent many changes. However, he added, this was not what Iran was after. (Albawaba.com)
