INTERCONTINENTAL HOTELS GROUP SALES EXECUTIVE ON ROAD TO SUCCESS WITH NEW PEUGEOT

 In recognition of driving strong market results, InterContinental Hotels Group United Arab Emirates & Qatar, rewarded Tim Dyson, Sales Executive of Holiday Inn, Downtown Dubai with a new Peugeot 206 convertible during its recent Sales and Marketing Conference.

InterContinental Resort Al Ain hosted the InterContinental Hotels Group UAE and Qatar annual Sales & Marketing conference, which was sponsored by Peugeot.

Dyson, who was rewarded for his outstanding Sales results recognized through his contributions to the on-line referral system, was handed the keys to his brand new car by Mr. Sean Walwyn, Area Director of Sales and Marketing, UAE and Qatar during a celebratory gala dinner held in the resort’s extensive garden area.

During the conference the sales and marketing teams were welcomed by Mr. Sean Walwyn, and celebrated the positive results of 2005 across the seven InterContinental Hotel Group properties in the UAE and Qatar.

The teams discussed the Group’s future developments in the region including the forthcoming openings of Holiday Inn Sharjah and the Crowne Plaza and InterContinental properties at Dubai Festival City, scheduled to open next year, as well as the extensive refurbishment plan for InterContinental Abu Dhabi to commence in April.

“With extremely positive results experienced in 2005 across the brand’s portfolio of UAE and Qatar properties the meeting concluded with an optimistic outlook for the Group in 2006,” said Walwyn. “We feel it is important for the Sales and Marketing teams in all our regions to get together in order to maintain a system of open communication and set a focus on the business challenges for the year ahead as well as to share best practices, ideas and strategies.”
