ALBAWABA- Houthi military spokesperson Yahya Saree announced a significant escalation, claiming responsibility for two drone attacks targeting Israel within 24 hours.

In a statement, Saree detailed a "qualitative military operation" targeting military and vital sites in Jaffa and Ashkelon, using drones.

He asserted that the operation successfully hit its intended targets as part of the fifth stage of their escalation against Israel.

This follows an earlier announcement on Friday, where the Houthi forces claimed to have launched a similar drone attack on a "vital target" in the Umm al-Rashrash area (Eilat) in southern Israel.

These strikes mark the most recent developments in the Houthis' increasing involvement in the regional conflict, raising concerns over their expanding military capabilities and alliances.
