ALBAWABA - On Friday, Israeli aircraft hit Beirut's southern suburbs and Tyre, while Hezbollah used drones and missiles to attack Israeli military positions.
Hezbollah said it hit an Israeli military base east of Haifa with "precision missiles" and targeted 11 Israeli army gatherings in southern Lebanon and northern Israel. The group also launched drone strikes on Israeli forces in Yaroun, southern Lebanon, and rockets at Doviv Barracks and the communities of Sa'sa', Al-Malkiyya, and Al-Manara near Kfar Kila. Israeli troops in Zar'it were attacked again.
Israeli airstrikes on southern Lebanon killed five medics, according to Lebanon's Ministry of Health. A hit on Al-Qatrani killed three doctors and injured three more, while a vehicle attack near Deir Qanoun Ras Al-Ain killed two more.
Israeli airstrikes damaged Tyre, Al-Burj Al-Shamali, Ma'araka, and Al-Naqoura. Israeli forces targeted Hezbollah leadership headquarters, according to the military.
UNIFIL said four peacekeepers were injured when missiles targeted their base in Shama, southern Lebanon. UNIFIL believed Hezbollah or its allies fired the rockets.
Four Italian soldiers were minorly injured in the attack, which Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni branded "unacceptable."
