A senior Hamas official accused Israel on Monday of
attempting to kill him during his stay in his home at Jabaliya on Sunday. Nizar Rayan, Hamas’ prominent figure in Jabaliya, Gaza Strip stated that his house was stoned by some unknown persons before observing three armed people in black who started firing at his house.
Rayan told Kuwait News Agency (Kuna) that "the armed men fired about 40 bullets into the home before running away." Rayan was unhurt in the attack which he accuses the Israeli forces of carrying. (Albawaba.com)
