Foreign ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) will meet in Jeddah on September 7 to discuss the Palestinian crisis, reported the official Kuwaiti news agency, KUNA, on Saturday.
Informed sources in the Qatari capital, Doha, told KUNA that the ministers would discuss how to pressure countries involved in the Middle East peace process to bring about an end to Israeli attacks on Palestinian people and institutions.
The ministers will call for extending financial assistance for the Palestinian Authority to enable it to confront the Israeli siege and attacks, added the sources.
Other topics that will top the agenda will be the Iranian-Emirati isle dispute and the Iraqi-Kuwaiti dispute, the sources added.
Economy and trade between the six GCC states will also occupy a large part of the meetings, said the sources.
