Under the patronage of mayor of Amman, Omar Maani, Greater Amman Municipality (GAM) held a free medical day for residents of Al Yarmouk district, at the Industrial Crafts School on 2/1/2010 from 9:00am to 3:00pm.
The medical day is part of Tribute to the Late King Hussein Campaign, organized by Health and Vocational Control Department at GAM, and in cooperation with AL Tafayleh Residents Association.
Board Chairman of Al Tafayleh Residents Association and the head of the local committee of Al Yarmouk district, lawyer Yehya Al Soud, pointed out that many doctors from different medical majors participated in that event (internists, dermatologists, ear, nose and throat doctors, family doctors, gynecologists, and pediatricians), in addition to the blood donation campaign, and allocation of JD 40.000 for medicines.
Al Soud called on the region's residents to attend this medical day and utilize the free health and treatment services rendered during this event.
