Israeli occupation troops killed early Monday three Palestinians near the Israeli settlement of Elei Sinai in northern Gaza Strip, witnesses said.

At pre-dawn on Monday, Palestinians living in the northern Gaza Strip village of Beit Lahiya heard intensive gunfire in the outskirt of the settlement, adding that after sunrise they saw three bodies laid on the ground in the area.

Witnesses reported that the residents as well as Palestinian ambulances were not able to reach the bodies of the three.

Israel said soldiers opened fire on three armed Palestinians who approached the settlement in order to carry out an attack.

Also in the Strip, Israeli troops killed a Palestinian woman and destroyed several houses in the city of Khan Younis, medics and witnesses said.

They told WAFA that Nima Abu Sahlool 45, was instantly killed after having been shot in the chest during the Israeli attack.

Witnesses said that scores of Israeli vehicles, backed by helicopters, stormed the western camp of Khan Younis amid intensive fire.

The helicopters shot calipers on civilians' houses, causing severe damages to several of them.

Meanwhile, Palestinian fighters fired early Monday at least two Qassam rockets at the southern Israeli town of Sderot. The attack has left six Israelis in a state of shock. One apartment was reported damaged. (albawaba.com)
