As Arab concerns grow over the Sudanese issue, Arab League Secretary General, Amr Moussa announced in Cairo Monday the selection of former Egyptian Minister of State for Environment Affairs, Nadia Makram Ubaid to represent Moussa in handling the Sudan affairs file, Hisham Yusef, Arab League official spokesman, announced, according to the Kuwait News Agency.
Yusef pointed out the Sudanese issue as one of the most important on the Arab League's agenda, and added that Ubaid would follow up on the Sudanese file with regards to its different aspects, including holding contacts with the Sudanese government and other concerned parties as well as boosting efforts to prevail peace in that country, KUNA added.
