Iran will take part in regional meetings on the Iraqi crisis in Damascus and Ankara if they take place, Foreign Minister Kamal Kharazi was quoted as saying by IRNA news agency Monday.
"If the meetings in Damascus and Ankara take place, Iran will take part", the Foreign Minister said.
"The security issues of regional countries must be resolved by the regional countries themselves."
If solutions are "imposed from outside, it will result in the presence of foreign forces in the region", which will "threaten regional security", he added. (Albawaba.com)
