Number one home appliance brand in the Asia-Pacific region, Fisher & Paykel, distributed in the UAE by Easa Saleh Al Gurg Group’s Better Life chain of stores, has been named the ‘most trusted whitegoods brand’ in Australia, in a Reader’s Digest national annual trust survey.
Now in its fifth year, the Reader’s Digest annual trust survey polled a representative sample of Australian consumers, asking them to rank 119 brands in 16 different categories.
Key drivers of trust identified included positive past experience and perceived quality. Judged against key whitegood names such as LG, Hoover, Whirlpool, Simpson, Miele and Smeg, Fisher & Paykel ranked as the most trusted whitegoods brand in Australia. A similar survey in New Zealand also saw the Fisher & Paykel brand take the number one position.

A resounding 84 per cent of those surveyed for Readers Digest said that trust is an important factor when choosing a brand. Across all categories and against 119 brands, Fisher & Paykel ranked 31 in Australia.
