First Jordanian Peaceful Nuclear Reactor

The International Agency for Atomic Energy is intending to provide the Jordanian government with a small nuclear reactor utilized for peaceful purposes, reported ArabicNews.com.  

The government submitted last Wednesday the draft project to the parliament that is expected to discuss it during its special session next month, said the agency. 

The cost of project is US $ 1.25, said the agency 

It added the reactor would be dedicated for training and scientific research to peaceful purposes and to install the nuclear radiation monitoring stations in all parts of the Kingdom - Albawaba.com
