Public Areas for Jordanians to follow The 2006 FIFA World Cup

Recognizing the 2006 FIFA World Cup Tournament as an event that interests all segments of the Jordanian community, FINE Hygienic Paper Co. LTD, Jordan's leading provider of hygiene and toiletry products and a Nuqul Group company, ensured that this year this international event  is made available to all. By placing large screens in two public parks across Amman, the company is now allowing all sports fans across the city to view and enjoy the world cup games.

This service was provided by FINE to Jordanians, free of charge to be a genuine and heartfelt enactment of His Majesty King Abdullah II's vision for creating a better quality of life for Jordanians by involving them in those current affairs that interest them. Acting on the facts that this year the World Cup games are being exclusively aired by one network across the Middle East region, and that the subscription fees for this particular network are beyond the budgets of several segments of Jordan's community; FINE, being “By Their Side,” made this move as a means to draw upon its strong sense of social responsibility to find practical solutions for Jordan's football lovers regardless of their place of residence, income, or lifestyle.

Placing large screens in the King Abdullah Gardens, and the Shafa Badran stadiums, FINE ensured that this service comes with all the features necessary to ensure that Jordan's sports lovers enjoy a memorable football viewing experience.

"We firmly believe in elevating the quality of life enjoyed by members of our community and we understand that it is the social duty of each member of this community to look out for the well being of his or her fellow citizens. We are aware of the general love Jordanians have for football, and we being strong advocates of better health and better well being for all Jordanians, we want them to know that we do all we can to respond to their needs and that we listen to them as customer-centric company. Our product range reflects our commitment to innovation and excellence, and our last initiative is a further reflection of us honoring our social commitment.  Football like the FINE’s product line-ups is for everyone," said Nuqul Group, Chief Marketing Officer Ms. Karam Annab.

Voicing the goals that this initiative from FINE aims to achieve Ms. Annab added, " I hope that this move reflects our sincere aims to promote sports, good life and good will to all Jordanians, and I hope that now members of this community can enjoy the games that in turn serve as a continuation of our mission to serve not only by providing premium toiletry products but also by actions that in turn bring joy to the hearts of our people."

Being the recent winner of Retail News Middle East's "Best Toiletry Product of the Year" award for the year 2006, FINE draws upon its commitment to innovation and excellence to provide toiletry products that adhere to international standards, and that in turn respond to the demands of an ever changing market governed by fierce regional competition.

"We are not only advocates of health and environmental issues, but rather  we are advocates of social development, and economic advancement, for we at FINE feel that it is our duty to support any initiative that promises a more prosperous economy  for Jordan. We recognize sports as being, an important part of our social advancement, so we took it upon ourselves to support the 2006 FIFA World Cup because it is not only a statement of better health, and better well being, but it is also a statement of social development that comes with the attributes that our products bring and symbolize" Ms. Annab said.
