With the aim of bringing families closer together and providing fun and games for children and adults alike, Le Meridien Al Aqah (LMAA), the famed Fujairah getaway, will be hosting an East Coast ‘Fun Day’ at the resort on January 26th, 2007. All proceeds from the day will go to the Sea Farers Angel Appeal and the Fujairah Handicapped Charity.
The LMAA Fun Day will bring a ‘village fete’ type atmosphere to the East Coast, with a variety of stalls on the beach, offering everything from food and beverages to handicrafts and games.

We are therefore very pleased to be hosting this exciting day of action-packed fun on behalf of two very worthy causes,” said Patrick Antaki, general manager, Le Meridien Al Aqah Beach Resort.
The fun day registration will open at 11 am by issuing tickets and T-shirts to attendees, followed by a welcome speech from Antaki. By noon, the food area will be open to visitors, with entertainment simultaneously provided a local dancers show. Lunch will be followed by a variety of live events including an animation musical show, tug-of-war tournament and a cake baking competition. Finally, at 4 pm, a raffle will be drawn and enthusiastic participants given the opportunity to win airline tickets and hotel accommodation at world-renowned Starwood properties.
Le Meridien Al Aqah visitors can enjoy all of these amazing family fun day activities only for AED 30 per adult and AED 15 for children under 12 years. The Fun Day is the first such initiative to take place in Fujairah and is expected to attract families from local areas and further afield.
