Two of the bodyguards of Fateh leader in the West Bank, Marwan Barghouthi, were injured in an explosion in Ramallah, reported Al Jazeera satellite channel.
Israeli helicopter gunships fired missiles at a car parked in front of the offices of the Fatah movement of Palestinian President Yasser Arafat Saturday, witnesses told AFP.
No further details were available on the incident which appears to be an assassination attempt on the Barghouthi’s life.
