Egypt's Foreign Minister attends Sudan peace agreement ceremony

Egypt's Foreign Minister ahmed Abul Gheit was due to visit Khartoum on Sunday on a several hours visit to Sudan. The minister was to leave the country heading for the Kenyan capital Nairobi to represent Egypt in an international ceremony marking the official signing of a final peace agreement between the Khartoum government and the Sudan People's Liberation Movement (SPLM).

 

Abul-Gheit will hold with his Sudanese counterpart Mustafa Othman Ismail on the latest developments in western Sudan's region of Darfur as well as means to foster bilateral ties in different domains, according to MENA correspondent.
