In Cairo, a senior Pakistani general has held meetings with Egyptian General Commander of the Armed Forces and Minister of Defense and Military Production Field Marshal Hussein Tantawai and Chief of Army Staff General Hawdy Wekaiba as well as other senior officials, an official statement said.
Vice Chief of Army Staff General Mohammad Yousuf Khan is currently visiting Egypt to hold talks on bilateral issues of defense cooperation between both countries.
The meeting with the Egyptian military officials dealt with issues of defense cooperation and collaboration in the fields of defense equipment, training, joint ventures in defense production and mutual exchange of military delegations and teams, the statement said. (Albawaba.com)
