The Dubai Municipality has launched a five-day campaign, which began Sunday to collect donations for the Palestinian people affected by the Israeli operations.

Khalid Ali bin Zayed, Head of the municipality's Public Relations section, explained that Dubai launches this campaign due to the firm relations between Dubai and the Palestinian cities.

Furthermore, he expressed that the municipality officials were notified through the local area network to collect donations for the Palestinians, either through direct contribution or by deduction of a part of their monthly pay, according to Gulf News

The officials expressed their readiness to organize any other campaign that aims at helping their brothers in the Palestinian Occupied Territories.

The amount collected will be sent to the Mohammed bin Rashid Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation, to be transferred to the Occupied Territories.

Last week, Dubai Municipality donated Dh5 million to the campaign launched by the Foundation in coordination with Dubai Television. (Albawaba.com)
