Dubai Autodrome Motor Sports Club lit a blazing trail by introducing track evening sessions last weekend. These events utilise the newly lit 2.46 km Club Circuit with the objective of accelerating enthusiasm among budding drivers in their own cars on the race track.

Saeed Khalfan, Chairman of the Dubai Autodrome said “after dark driving came as a result of the increasing demands for track usage by a majority of drivers and racing enthusiasts who have limited time during the day. The new evening sessions are much more convenient to many of them due to their business commitments.”

The first ever Evening Track Experience started at 6pm on Friday the 16th of February with over 60 cars and 20 bikes participating and finished at 11pm. Race & Drive School Instructors were on hand to offer guidance on track driving skills, imparting techniques to maximize driving pleasure in a save environment.

The Evening Track Experiences are a series of track driving opportunities offered by Dubai Autodrome on a regular basis with the next ones scheduled for early March. On the 1st of March the Race & Drive School at the Dubai Autodrome will be offering the first of a series of Introductory Track Evenings, designed to train track driving skills to newcomers who have never driven their own car on a race track before.

The Race & Drive School also offers a variety of thrilling experiences including the “High Speed Passenger Rides” and “Performance Driving Experiences” using the 315 bhp Subaru Impreza, 180 bhp GTS sports cars and the 200 bhp Audi S3 turbo and the closest thing to a Formula One with the 180 bhp Formula Dubai single-seater racing cars. The prices of the Driving Experiences range from AED 150 to 900.
