Iranian Defense Minister Rear Admiral Ali Shamkhani on Wednesday said that there is no potential threat against Iran. Talking to reporters on the sidelines of the 15th International Conference on the Persian Gulf, Shamkhani added even the US statesmen regard attack on Iran as ridiculous.
"Iran played an important role in safeguarding its stability and regional security due to the close relationship between the nation and government as well as the government's effective deterrent policy. No one can deny such a role," he said, according to IRNA.
"Our nuclear sites are under supervision of the International Atomic Energy Agency. "If anyone attack our nuclear as well as non-nuclear sites without any justification, we will make him retreat in a second," Shamkhani conveyed.
