Sayyid Said bin Ibrahim al-Busaidi, Deputy Governor of Muscat received on Wednesday the Commanders of the two Iranian ships currently visiting the Omani Sultanate.
Sayyid Said welcomed the guests and their accompanying delegations and reviewed with them issues of common concern, according to ONA.
In addition, he briefed them with regards to the historic aspects of the six Wilayats of the Muscat governorate as well as the services the Governorate renders to citizens and residents.
In return, the visiting guests expressed their admiration regarding the progress and growth witnessed by the Omani Sultanate as well as the major achievements, which covered all areas in the Sultanate thanks to the wise leadership of Sultan Qaboos bin Said.
Furthermore, commemorative gifts had been exchanged between the sides and the deputy governor of Muscat wished his guests a happy stay and a successful trip. The Iranian Ambassador to the Sultanate attended the meeting as well. (Albawaba.com)
