Customers Vote Dell No.1 in Europe for Enterprise Product Portfolio and Infrastructure Solutions

Dell won the Best Technology Provider Award at the recent European Midsize Enterprise Summit  held in Paris, France, for its Enterprise and infrastructure solutions portfolio, which includes the PowerEdge™ and PowerVault™ portfolio of products.
“Our unique direct business model enables us to work very closely with our customers, listen to their needs and deliver what they value. Our ongoing commitment to industry standards enables our customers to reduce complexity in their IT environment,” said Eric Velfre, Director of Enterprise Marketing, Dell EMEA. “The recent addition of our ninth generation platforms as well as Platinum Plus, the highest level of enterprise service support for server and storage systems, demonstrates that we continue to effectively deliver scalable enterprise solutions that simplify operations for our customers, whilst also maximising uptime and enabling cost-effective scaling for businesses of all sizes.”
“As businesses strive to consolidate their data centre infrastructures and CIOs and IT decision-makers are charged with achieving more for less budget, there is greater demand for scalable, standardised enterprise-class technology that meets the needs and budgets of companies today and tomorrow,” said Charles Badoian, Senior Global Director for Gartner Vision Events. “Today’s businesses, regardless of size or sector, realise that flexible, robust infrastructure is critical to necessitate watertight business continuity planning in light of regulatory compliance pressures.”
This latest accolade follows recent industry recognition for Dell’s Enterprise portfolio; as part of the Reliability and Service Awards Dell was presented with the Best Enterprise Award.
