The French institute of Rabat and the region of Kenitra (northwest Morocco), in partnership with the Provincial Delegation of the Moroccan Ministry of Culture, are going to hold on Wednesday, May 18, a conference on the Origins of Writing in Morocco. The event will be held at the Espace the Balzac Library in Kenitra.
<i>EMarrakech</i> reports that the conference is held in celebration of the publishing of a new book by Ahmed Skounti, Abdelkader Lemjidi and El Mustapha Nami, on the Origins of Writing in Morocco. The conference will be directed by El Mustapha Nami, historian and conservator of the National park of the Rupestral Inheritance in Marrakech.
